Nature of the service. SAS Relocations provides relocation consultancy and coordination services to individuals, families, and companies relocating to Spain. SAS Relocations is not a law firm, is not a licensed immigration attorney, and does not act as a gestoría. SAS Relocations does not provide formal legal representation before any Spanish government body, court, or public administration. Where a matter requires formal legal representation — most commonly visa and immigration applications — SAS Relocations refers clients to an independent, collaborating law firm, which acts under its own professional responsibility and its own client relationship with the customer.
International moving services. Where a client's relocation includes an international move of household goods, SAS Relocations coordinates the process (timeline, inventory scoping, and communication) but does not perform, invoice, or insure the physical move. The move itself is carried out under a separate contract directly between the client and an independent, specialized moving partner, who invoices and is paid directly by the client. SAS Relocations is not a party to that contract and accepts no liability for delay, loss, damage, or insurance matters arising from the physical move. See the Terms of Service for the full clause.
Professional liability insurance. SAS Relocations holds professional liability insurance covering financial loss arising from negligent advice and related legal defense costs. This insurance explicitly excludes formal legal/visa proceedings (covered under the collaborating law firm's own insurance) and formal real estate brokerage/intermediation.
Intellectual property. All content on this Site — text, graphics, logos, photography, and the SAS Relocations name and mark — is the property of Saskia González Lipiani (trading as SAS Relocations) or is used under license, and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without prior written consent.
Governing law. This Site and the services described on it are governed by the laws of Spain. Any dispute not resolved informally will be submitted to the courts of Madrid, Spain, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection venue rights the client may have under applicable law.
